Camps and Trips
Building Skills While Having Fun
Contact jz@thelaunchpadteencenter.org for information on Fall/Spring Break Trips and Summer Camps!

Summer Camps
Each summer, The Launch Pad hosts adventure filled camps for teens, including outdoor expeditions, creative arts, and leadership programs. Register with The Launch Pad to be ready for next summer’s camps or email JZ at jz@thelaunchpadteencenter.org for details.
Adventure Camp
Spend five days and four nights camping at Blue Ridge Reservoir with a crew of fellow teens and experienced outdoor educators. Enjoy hiking, swimming, campfire games, and ecology lessons—all while unplugging and sleeping under the stars. No experience needed—just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get a little gritty!
Band Lab Camp
Join a band, write original music, and take the stage! Band Lab is your backstage pass to creativity, performance, and musical discovery. Led by local musician Jai Blakeley, campers will visit music studios, write songs, record radio ads, and cap the week off with a live concert at The Launch Pad. All skill levels and musical styles welcome!
ARTrepreneurship
Artrepreneurship RETURNS to support local teens and their artistic creativity this summer 2026. Teens will work with returning workshop staff members and local artists to learn how to become a self-employed artist, while at the same time accessing mixed-media art supplies, studio space, and instructional guidance to see their creative passions result in profit.
Games for Days Camp
Bring your imagination to life through tabletop roleplay, epic D&D campaigns, and hands-on creativity. Mornings feature strategy games, dice pouring, and mini painting, while afternoons are filled with immersive storytelling and character design. Meet a professional game designer and explore how your favorite games are built.
Art Camp
Explore painting, pottery, murals, and more with local artists during this hands-on creative week. Each day features a different workshop—from comics and glass blowing to photography and mixed media.
Campers also visit Board & Brush for a custom wood sign project. No matter your skill level, you’ll leave with art to be proud of!
