Fall Semester Clubs

The Launch Pad’s Fall Semester 2017 Weekday Clubs

All clubs starting the first week of September

We are asking for $25 for the semester to get involved with our clubs.  There is no limit to the amount of clubs that a teen can join.  Some of the clubs have an additional fee beyond the $25 due to the cost of materials and/or instruction, however, we have scholarships to cover the fees for any teen who is in need.

Contact The Launch Pad for more information about club fees and scholarships.

Monday: Garden Club

This is for the green thumb teen…or the teen who wants to become one.  Help The Launch Pad grow vegetables that can be used to make pizza, salsa, and so much more.  Reap the benefits of your hard work in the garden and cook homemade pizza in The Launch Pad’s outdoor oven. This club meets every Monday from 3:30-5:30.

Tuesday: Art Club

This club makes a real mess out of our art room exploring everything from Screen Printing, Jewelry Making, Painting, Mural Making, Woodworking and so much more. Art Club meets every Tuesday from 3:30-5:30pm at The Launch Pad. Additional Materials Fee- $25

Wednesday: Adventure Club

The Prescott Area has so much outdoor exploring to offer and that’s exactly what this club will do.  Every Wednesday the Adventure Club will meet from 1:30-5:30 to go explore the great outdoors.  Activities include kayaking and canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, map skills, cooking outdoors, mountain biking and more.  This club will always meet at The Launch Pad and then leave from there to go explore. Additional Fee for Gear Rental- $50

Thursday: Community Service Club

This club is great for teens who want to get involved in the community.  This club will be doing volunteer work for various non-profits around the community.  It is a great way to meet new people, build your resume, take care of community service hours that are required for school, and learn about the Prescott Area.  This club meets every Thursday from 3:30-5:30 at The Launch Pad where they will get on the shuttle and go out to work on their community service projects.

Friday: Digital Media Club

Teens will get to learn how to film, edit, and produce their own short films and t.v. shows using state of the art equipment, a green screen, and the latest technology for film making.  This club is offered in partnership with the Prescott Media Center.  This club will be meeting on Friday’s from 3:30-5:30pm at The Launch Pad.
